This is a speed control for a router. This OEM quality part is sold individually. The speed control allows you to adjust your router motor speed so you can use a range of different router bits. It also controls the soft start, and the load compensating features of the router. The control lever attaches to it, and this allows you to change the speed. Over the lifetime of your tool, the circuit board of the speed control can fail. To access this part, you will need to remove the top cover which is secured with screws.
