This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with Bosch rotary hammers. This bearing is used to allow movement of the armature while seated in the bearing end plate. The bearing as a series of steel balls inside that allows the bearing to rotate while the armature is spinning. Bearings can wear down over time and can cause a loud noise while the tool is on or even a wobble which can cause damage to the electric motor. Replacing a worn out bearing can promote performance, and prevent further damage. This bearing is sold as an individual replacement part.
