Description
3M Adflo PAPR with Versaflow M-Series Hard Hat Welding Helmet Kit
INCLUDES XXi ADF
This is the absolute MAXIMUM in protection possible, and meets requirements of even the most brutal job sites in existence. This is for those that need to wear a hard hat, have full respiratory protection, and weld. This is what we at Weldready simply refer to as the space suit!
The helmet is unique in that the welding mask portion of the set up is entirely removeable, for when you are performing long grinding sessions, or when protection from chemical vapors is required in addition to a hard hat.
Both the welding mask and the grinding shield flip up separately. You can flip up the welding mask for grinding/prep work without reducing protection from fumes. You can then flip up the grinding shield for easy communication in safe environments. It is important to note that the grinding shield is a full face panoramic viewing area. It is the largest viewing area of any PAPR set up in existence.
Inside the helmet, there is a face seal that ensure positive pressure is achieved to prevent fumes from entering your breathing area. Externally, there is a large leather shroud that doubles down on stopping fumes from entering, while also offering maximum protection from spatter even when overhead welding.
The 3M Adflo PAPR and 3M Versaflo M-Series Helmet Kit with 3M Speedglas Welding Shield helps keep the user safe in a variety of working environments. With an assigned protection factor (APF) of 1000, this kit provides a high-efficiency particulate respiratory protection system for welders housed in a lightweight, compact design.
Featuring an adjustable head suspension, the M-Series Helmet Kit with Speedglas Welding Shield helps improve user safety without sacrificing wearability. For welding protection, this assembly includes a leather shroud, flame-resistant helmet cover, and clear, wide-view protective visor. For particulate protection, this system utilizes a 3M Adflo PAPR Kit containing a lithium-ion battery & charger and high-efficiency particulate filter that uses audible and visual alarms when signaling low airflow and battery charge.
