C.R. Laurence PH40BS Brushed Stainless Sidelite Transom Patch With 1NT300 Insert is specifically designed to support transoms from sidelite glass panels, ensuring both stability and style. This robust patch fitting is compatible with both 2-3/4″ and 2-9/16″ pivot setback door patch fittings, making it versatile for various applications. It accommodates 3/8″ or 1/2″ (10 mm or 12 mm) monolithic tempered glass, providing reliable support for your glass installations. The PH40BS includes the innovative INT300 Insert, allowing for seamless integration with CRL’s PH20A or PH21A top door patch fittings. This insert can also be repositioned on the non-hinged side, facilitating a double swing door configuration. For projects requiring a one-way door, the INT306 Transom Patch Door Stop Insert can be utilized, while the INT305L Keeper Insert is available for use with AMR205 locks for top door installations. Please note that if the transom weight exceeds 100 lbs. (45.4 kg), support from the ceiling is necessary to prevent slippage. The product comes with a template and instructions for easy installation, although glass fabrication is required with three 7/8″ diameter holes and a corner notch. For best performance, periodic maintenance is recommended to maintain the brushed stainless steel finish.
