CRL PTH311A Clear Anodized Glass Latch with Lock and Thumbturn
C.R. Laurence PTH311A Clear Anodized Glass Mounted Latch with Lock and Thumbturn combines functionality and sleek design for single or double doors. Designed specifically for 3/8″ or 1/2″ (10 or 12 mm) monolithic tempered glass, this latch offers a secure locking mechanism with an EC4 Keyed Cylinder for outswing doors and inswing configurations when paired with the PTH314 Glass Mounted Latch Keeper. For optimal performance, an EC3 Extended Length Keyed Cylinder is required for inswing applications using the keeper. Constructed from durable 304 grade stainless steel, the PTH311A is finished in satin anodized for an elegant appearance. The latch features field reversible capabilities, allowing for easy installation and adaptability to various door configurations. It requires the fabrication of two 1-7/8″ (48 mm) holes in the glass, ensuring a clean and professional look. Please note that lever handles are ordered separately, providing flexibility in design choices. The
CRL PTH311 Glass Mounted Latch comes assembled for use with the EC4 Keyed Cylinder on all outswing and on inswing doors without a PTH314 Glass Mounted Latch Keeper. When used on inswing door with PTH314, the EC3 Extended Length Keyed Cylinder must be used.
NOTE: When used on double door applications, the door with the keeper should be secured in place with a lock at the bottom of the door.
