C.R. Laurence PH20CDU Dark Bronze Adjustable North American Top Door Patch Fitting offers exceptional versatility and precision for your door installation needs. Designed for use with monolithic tempered glass, it accommodates both 3/8″ and 1/2″ (10 or 12 mm) glazing thicknesses, providing flexibility in your design options. With a pivot setback of 2-3/4″ (70 mm), this fitting is compatible with our CRL9970 Overhead Concealed Door Closer, making it an ideal choice for a variety of architectural settings. The maximum door specifications include a height of 102″ (2.59 m), weight of 194 lbs. (88 kg), and width of 42″ (1.07 m). For larger doors, consider using full door rails, as these fittings are not suitable for laminated glass. Included with your purchase are templates and instructions to facilitate the installation process. Choose from five standard finishes to match your aesthetic preferences. Please note, this fitting should not be used with European 2-9/16″ (65 mm) pivot setback closers, which require the PH21C model instead. The
CRL Adjustable Top Door Patch Fitting includes an adjustable pivot insert that allows for 3 degrees of movement for proper alignment of the door to the jamb when in the closed position. For use with our CRL9970 Overhead Concealed Door Closer. Finished covers are available in five standard finishes. Gaskets are supplied that allow this Patch Fitting to be used with either 3/8″ or 1/2″ (10 or 12 mm) Glass.
The following guidelines are to be used when making a door using this hardware:
Maximum Height: 102″ (2.59 m)
Maximum Weight: 194 Lbs. (88 kg)
Maximum Width: 42″ (1.07 m)
If the door exceeds any of these limitations, full door rails should be used. These fittings are not for use with Laminated Glass.
