Hafele 408.32.902 Door Straightening Fitting, Hawa adds essential rigidity to your sliding and pivoting doors, effectively preventing warping and twisting. With a generous length of 1575 mm (62 inches), this fitting is designed to accommodate door heights ranging from 1215 mm to 2850 mm (47 13/16″ to 112 3/16″) and thicknesses between 16 mm and 50 mm, making it a versatile choice for various applications. The black anodized aluminum tensioning profile is recessed and can be either screw-fixed or glued for added convenience. Adjustment is straightforward, utilizing pre-mounted hex screws that can be easily manipulated with an 8 mm (5/16″) open-ended wrench. For optimal performance, two alignment fittings per door are recommended, though this fitting is not suitable for hardwood. When used with lacquered panels, it’s important to note that milling may be visible on the front. Each kit includes two door alignment fittings along with all necessary components, except for the fastening screws for the tensioners and retaining plates.
