Schlage L9093EL-T-17L-613 50-231 KIT – 17L Electric Mortise Lock, Keyed Outside, 1-2/24VDC, Oil Rubbed Bronze
Schlage Lock Company L9093EL-T-17L-613 50-231 KIT offers robust security combined with advanced electronic features. This electric mortise lock is designed for both convenience and reliability, allowing for simultaneous locking and unlocking of both levers. It is ideal for various applications, with a keyed exterior and field-selectable fail-safe/fail-secure operation, making it adaptable to your specific security needs. Engineered for flexibility, the L9093EL automatically detects 12V or 24V DC power, accommodating a wide range of installation scenarios. The low maximum current draw of 0.4 amps at 24V enables multiple locks to operate on a single power supply, while the 0.1 amp holding current prevents overheating, eliminating the issue of “hot levers” in electrified applications. The lock features a modular design, allowing for the addition of a request-to-exit function without the need to open the lock case. It is UL listed for 3-hour fire doors, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Available in a striking oil-rubbed bronze finish (613/US10B), this lock not only enhances security but also adds an elegant touch to your doors. With extensive customization options for lever styles and finishes, the Schlage L9093EL-T-17L-613 is the perfect solution for modern security needs.

Many of the most advanced electronic access systems still rely on the strength and functionality of the mechanical lock hardware on the door. L Series electrified mortise locks include Schlage’s most diverse aesthetic options in a design built for performance, security and durability. It can be used as part of an integrated system or as a standalone solution with a buzzer or other device as the controller. The L Series offers exceptional flexibility and power savings. The lock automatically adapts to 12V or 24V DC input, and a case-mounted switch allows selection between EL and EU operation. Request-to-exit is modular and can be added without opening the lock case. 0.4 amp maximum current draw (24V operating voltage) allows multiple units on a single power supply, while 0.1 amp holding current eliminates “hot levers” in EL applications. Utilizing the same levers, trims and options as the mechanical Schlage L Series mortise, it suites seamlessly with the other L Series hardware which includes both purely mechanical and fully electronic solutions. And because it is based on the Schlage L mortise, it carries the same proven record of performance, strength and durability from the most trusted name in the industry.
