Description
The SPM301HD features a heavy-duty, direct drive continuous electric spindle motor for those jobs that just keep on coming. Unlike others of its kind, the SPM301HD features cam-driven action providing fast, smooth cutting action under complete mechanical control throughout the machine cycle. The new pilot air drill and end mill produce superior low-angle 6 degree screw pockets. Requires standard 220V and 6.2 CFM at 90 PSI based on 25% load factor, 25% duty cycle.

- Pocket-hole joinery for high production woodworkers made easy with our SPM301HD Screw pocket machine
- Key enhancements on the SPM301HD from the SPM301 Screw Pocket Machine are: A spindle motor just like the ones in a CNC machine, running continuously with minimal maintenance
- An air drill replacing a router motor
- Smooth mechanical controlled action compared to a pneumatic action
- Half the cycle time compared to other machines on the market
- Single cycle of drilling a 6 degree pilot hole while machining a screw pocket in less than a second
- Easy top access for tooling changes and maintenance
- A direct drive continuous electric spindle motor (like the ones in a CNC machine), running continuously with minimal maintenance
- A self-oiling air drill replacing the router motor
- These upgrades allow for continuous, heavy-duty operation, capable of pocketing 8+ hours per day with a much quieter operation
- Fence Adjustments : Easily alter the distance that our pocket is drilled into the wood for a variety of screw lengths
- Controlled Cut Speed : Mechanical action reduces air needed and makes the cut action smoother and cleaner
- Pocket Alignment Guide : Align our panel and get an accurate pocket each time with our pocket alignment guide
- CAM linkage : Allowing both motors to move at the same time, reducing the cycle time without sacrificing cut quality
- Pocket Depth Adjustment : Crank the handle on our machine to easily alter the pocket depth, ideal for the times that our working with wood of varying thicknesses, this process on the SPM101EZ requires hand tools to make the adjustment
